Shara is the green tea traditionally used in Moroccan tea ceremonies; its name refers to the shape of the delicately rolled green tea leaves. Naturally lower in caffeine than darker teas, Shara has a light and clean flavor that complements mint perfectly. To best enjoy, place two tablespoons of Shara loose tea, a handful of fresh mint leaves, and sugar to taste in a teapot. Add filtered boiling water and steep for three minutes. Pour into tea glasses and enjoy an authentic taste of Morocco.
