Spaghetti with Capers

Spaghetti with Capers Make it

    pound spaghetti

  • 6

    tablespoons Mina extra-virgin olive oil

  • 4

    cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped

  • 4

    tablespoons Mina capers

  • Pinch of red chili flakes

  • Fresh parsley, chopped

  • Grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  • Step 1

    Bring a generously salted pot of water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions, until al dente.  

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and red chili flakes and cook for 1 minute, stirring to prevent burning. Add capers and cook for another minute.  

  • Step 3

    When the spaghetti is ready, reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain spaghetti. Add the spaghetti and the reserved pasta water to the pan, tossing to coat. Salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 4

    Serve family-style in a large serving bowl. Garnish with chopped parsley and freshly grated Parmesan. Enjoy!
