Healthy AND Delicious

There’s everything to like. Great with a salad. The kids like it. I enjoy getting acquainted with the combinations and resulting flavors of Morocco. I’ve ordered some other Mina products.

Delicious lentils

My family enjoys the flavor of this lentil stew. I think it's delicious too. I've been serving it as a side dish with white rice and meats and vegetables and every lentil gets eaten. I prepare two packages at a time for my family.

The lentils are so easy to heat up. I've done them both in the microwave while they are in the bag, and pouring them into a pot on the stove. They can be boiled in the bag too. Both methods I tried produced great results and I don't notice any difference in flavor or texture. I see Mina Addis has other varieties too and I would be happy to try one of them for my next purchase.

Absolutely delicious

Very easy to prepare. In just a few minutes you have a wonderful tasty meal. This package makes enough for a nice lunch for two if you add some rice or hardy bread to the meal.

Tasty introduction to Moroccan lentil stew

I've never tried Moroccan food before, but I like lentils and love the all-natural ingredients in this stew. There are so few products on the grocery shelves where I live that are non-GMO, vegan and not loaded with preservatives or other mystery ingredients. This lentil stew reminded me a bit of the Mexican black bean side dish in the US which contains many of the same spices. I was a little worried about the cilantro because I'm one of the weird people who detest cilantro, but the flavor here is subtle and absolutely complemented the other spices. The one-cup portion size seems small for a main dish serving but perfect for a side dish. This stew is amazing either way, and I didn't have to add anything.

Yummy!

I ordered the Moroccan Lentil Stew, and it is delicious. Very flavorful with amazing spices. The one thing I love most about this Lentil Stew (besides the taste) is that this stew is gluten free. My sister has Celiac disease, and it is difficult to find great tasting food that is also gluten free. Also, with Celiac disease you have to take into consideration cross contamination. So, when she comes over for lunch, I have either ordered out from a restaurant that has a gluten free menu or VERY carefully prepared a gluten free meal. Having this Lentil Stew on hand is going to make our luncheons so much safer for her and easier for me. This stew is heat and eat so no major pots and pans to dirty. Absolutely, I recommend...so tasty!

Cant even tell its from a pouch

Im really impressed with this lentil soup. There are 3 different ways to prepare it and I chose on the stove so that I wasnt heating it up in the pouch. I used 3 pouches to have a decent amount in the pot and to have enough for both me and my husband and we had some leftovers. The pouches say that each is 2 servings but if you want to actually get substantially full its more like one pouch per person. We added some ham to it as well but it was fantastic on its own. The flavors are strong and delicious with no hint of artificial or preserved type tastes. The texture is great too. Honestly we both really enjoyed this meal and look forward to leftovers. I really love that it can be taken to work in a lunch box and heated up in a microwave and even eaten out of the pouch if you need. It also doesnt expire until next year so you could stock it up on your pantry shelves. Overall this is an awesome and easy option for lentil soup and I highly recommend it.
