This is excellent

The blend of spices was easy to eat and enjoyed the fragrance. The flavor was almost romantic with cinnamon and other spices that was pleasurable to the palate.

Different, in a food way

Packaging is in bags, which I love. Fits into my lunch pail with ease. Shelf life is very good of about ~2 years.Flavor is very good, a bit different from other lentil soups I've had. This has a nutty and "full" flavor. The broth is smooth in texture and slightly creamy in flavor, with underpinnings of cinnamon and curry. The seasoning is quite mild though. It's not hit-you-in-the-face with spices, nor is it spicy.Texture is good. It's not watery either. I originally made rice to add to my first bowl, but don't need it at all! I'm impressed

Healthy, Delicious, and Only Takes A Minute To Prepare! A Must-Try Soup

I recently tried the Mina Harira Soup and I have to say, I'm absolutely in love! This soup is the perfect balance of hearty and healthy, with a delicious blend of chickpeas, lentils, and savory spices. The texture is just right, with a thick and satisfying consistency that fills you up without weighing you down. I was also impressed by the quality of the ingredients - everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and you can tell that this soup is made with care.

One thing I particularly appreciated was the convenience of the six-pack - it's great to have a healthy and tasty meal option that you can easily heat up whenever you're short on time. Plus, the packaging is eco-friendly and easy to store in the pantry.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Mina Harira Moroccan Chickpea Lentil Soup to anyone looking for a flavorful and filling soup that's also good for you. Whether you're a fan of chickpeas, lentils, or just soup in general, this one is definitely worth trying! 5 stars! I will be trying out their other soups as well!!

My friend has this and Loves it!

I gifted it to my friend so she can try it. She says she loves the taste and how she wants to get more! I'll get these for myself since I didn't get to try yet and update later.

Super easy to prepare - taste is aquired

Easily the best feature of these "ready to eat" soup in a bag type meals is how easy they are to prepare. This Moroccan chickpea & lentil soup was fast and indeed easy. It shouldn't surprise anyone reading these reviews that these flavors are bold and if you haven't had something similar for you might not find it appealing, but if these suit your palate you'll be pleased. We loved them!

Tasty but salty

I try to eat more vegetables in my diet. This soup fits that bill.

The nutrition facts on the back of the package indicates the serving size is 1/2 cup, yielding 2 servings per package. I split the first package with my wife. I emptied the contents of the package into a small pot, and heated until appropriately hot. We found the soup tasty. My wife complained that it is on the salty side. She regularly makes soups from scratch, and doesn't add salt. We also felt the that the portion size was too small. I took a look at can of soup from another manufacturer. On that can it lists the serving size as 1 cup.

The next day, I heated a packet in the microwave, and emptied it into a bowl. My wife did the same with her own soup packet. She followed the directions on the packet to convert the packet into a bowl by cutting half way down. It worked okay as a bowl, but she needed a scissors in order to cut the bag at that point. A full packet per person seemed to be the correct size. Looking at the sodium content, that makes it high in sodium.

Delicious soup

I tried the chickpea, lentil, and tomato soup. The pouches are perfect for a meal, especially as you can turn it into a bowl. I ended up getting some heat and eat jasmine rice to go with it, and that made the perfect filling lunch. They are a tad on the salty side, but for me that didn't take away from the overall meal.

Great Tasting Soup For A Quick Meal

This is the first edible order I've placed on Vine and it turned out to be a decently good one. These are basically soups in a bag that are idiot proof in terms of preparing. All you need to do is open and dispense either into a bowl for microwaving or into a pot for stove top heating. No need to add any other ingredients.

The soup itself was tasty and definitely had an Indian/Moroccan flair to it with chickpeas and lentils not giving me the impression that this came out of a bag. The flavors are somewhat on the milder side so it's not at all overbearing. In fact, you could serve this to someone and they would have no idea it came out of a bag if you never said so.

Portions are pretty small though so one bag may or may not fill you up.

As for the cost. At around $4.50 for each packet I'd say this is a little pricey especially given that the portions are so small.

But all in all, this is a surprisingly tasty soup that requires pretty much no prep time to make. It's basically just pour, heat, and serve.
