Easy Moroccan Fish (Serves 4)

  • 2 lbs. whole fish or fillets
  • 1 large carrot, sliced
  • 4 small potatoes, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 jar of Mina® Tomato, Herbs & Spices Simmer Sauce
  • 1 cup of Mina® Olives
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Directions: Pour half of sauce into a skillet or Dutch oven. Top with carrots, potatoes and peppers. Place fish over veggies and cover with remaining sauce. Top with olives and arrange lemon slices on fish. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes over medium-low heat.

Taste amazing.

Make sure to use a lot of it. Half jar and more for one nice pan of fish.

Very flavorful tomato based cooking sauce

I did not use this sauce on fish. I used it as a tiki marsala type simmer sauce and dressed it up with chili pepper flakes as it is very mild. Was good with rice, browned chicken and mixed vegetables.

Wrong product sent

Received the wrong product. Ordered Moroccan fish but received the chicken version.
I’ve had this product for fish before and it’s wonderful, and expected the same. I’m vegetarian and it’s a vegan sauce but it’s made for chicken so I was disappointed.

Sauce great but bottles often open or broken

Sauce amazing with firm fish like cod. Added dried apricots, preserved lemons, and olives. Problem is both times I ordered 2 bottles of any Mina product one is open or broken and unable to get refund or replacement. They need much better shipping oversight.

Paleo friendly cooking sauce.

Savory sauce for fish that is Paleo-friendly. It is difficult to find sauces without added sweetener. I am not a fish person. I baked this with fresh halibut and it was delicious! You can get it much cheaper, unfortunately, at Thrive online market.

Savory fish sauce

This sauce has an excellent flavor especially when cooking fish for a 2 year old. My son will only eat the fish of it is baked with this seasoning.It has been discontinued therefore I am now on the quest for this recipe.
